The piece, by Fjordman, on BrusselsJournal, says it starts with the war against boys and men, and is helped along by feminist demands for "multiculturalism" and the massive immigration it fosters of people unfriendly to Western values (or, I'll add, at war with the West and Western values, who seek the violent overturn of Western society and to install Sharia law). An excerpt:

Obamacare: They get what you pay for

Or maybe you die because nobody's paying for it, or not enough people are paying for it, or too many people are getting something and paying little or nothing for it. Fred Barnes writes in The Weekly Standard that it's up to the Republicans to defeat Obamacare (unfortunately, there aren't enough Libertarians to defeat anything, although perhaps they could convince a few people to switch from turkey to ham for lunch). In Barnes' words:

Obama's liberal reforms would probably be irreversible. Most ominous is creation of a government health insurance program open to everyone. The respected Lewin Group estimates such a program would soon cover 130 million Americans, most of them refugees from private insurance. It would only be a short step to a Canadian-style, single payer system run by bureaucrats in Washington.

Secret Ballot Considered in Missouri

State Lawmakers respond to federal Employee Free Choice Act

Chad Livengood • News-Leader • March 31, 2009

Jefferson City -- In a push back against federal efforts to make it easier to form a union, lawmakers are considering putting a constitutional amendment before voters to guarantee workers a secret vote.
Rep. Mike Cunningham's proposed constitutional amendment would give Missouri residents a right to a secret ballot when deciding whether to form a union. If approved by both chambers, voters would decide the issue in November 2010.

The legislation is directed at the federal Employee Free Choice Act, known in Washington as card check. Card check, if approved, would make it easier to form a union by allowing workers to bypass a secret ballot vote and instead get a simple majority of workers to sign a card.

ACORN Voter Registration Fraud Continues in Missouri

MRP Chairman: Robin Carnahan and Claire McCaskill ‘ignore the threat’

Jefferson City - This morning, Secretary of State Robin Carnahan released an analysis of the 2008 elections that ignores the threat posed by voter registration fraud in Missouri.  This comes despite an organized effort by groups such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) to submit thousands of fraudulent voter registrations to county election boards across this state.  Carnahan’s report, which does not mention ACORN, also comes a week after a former organizer for ACORN pleaded guilty to federal charges for submitting fraudulent voter registrations in the St. Louis area—the latest in a long line of serious voter fraud allegations for the left-wing group.

“We commend the efforts of the United States Attorney’s Office for its pursuit of those who seek to undermine the integrity of Missouri’s elections,” said David Cole, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party.  “For too long, Robin Carnahan—the chief elections official in the state—has ignored the threat that voter fraud poses to our system of government.  This report makes it clear that Carnahan has no intention of cleaning up our election process or seriously confronting organized fraud.”

MEDIA ADVISORY:

“Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party” Tens of Thousands Prepare to Gather in Their Local Communities in Protest of Socialism
Tax Day Tea Party – Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City, MO– Following the lead of CNBC’s Rick Santelli’s call for a “Chicago Tea Party”,
DontGo Movement (www.dontgomovement.com), Smart Girl Politics (www.smartgirlpolitics.ning.com), and tcot (www.topconservativesontwitter.org), worked together the nation, where over 30,000 people attended.
Those were basically “spontaneous”, last minute efforts…organized in literally days.

Building on the success of those February 27th Tea Parties, the word went out from those sponsors about organizing Tax Day Tea Parties, and asking for volunteers in any/every city in the USA. That grassroots
effort is called “Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party” (www.taxdayteaparty.com)

Presently Michelle Malkin, Dana Loesch, and GOPUSA, are co-sponsoring the movement. This week Newt Gingrich announced his decision to step up to the plate as a co-sponsor, also.
The Tax Day Tea Party has been taking the nation by storm; to date, there are over 120 cities with confirmed events nationwide.

Kansas City is one of those cities. Local resident, Andrea Plunkett, is the volunteer organizer of the
local protest (http://taxdayteaparty.com/teaparty/missouri/). “This is an exciting opportunity because it  gives citizens a chance to come together and send a powerful message to Washington. It is not about Republican or Democrat, it is about telling our elected officials we expect them to exercise responsible spending habits with our tax dollars”, said Andrea Plunkett.

Americans are crossing the political divide, and joining together by the tens of thousands, to protest
the fact that government intrusion doesn’t work. "A la the 1773 Boston Tea Party, we’re fed up with
the taxation and the government takeover brought on with the Stimulus Bill and the numerous other
bailouts.

There’s only one proven way to create jobs and that is by cutting income taxes and wasteful
spending" said Eric Odom, Director of the DontGo Movement.     The Obama Stimulus Plan will be borrowing an unprecedented amount of money. It is the largest giveaway in American History. Even the Congressional Budget Office says that the Stimulus Bill will  create few jobs in 2009 and 2010, but will instead cause dangerously high levels of inflation as the  Federal Government lets the Treasury printing presses run indiscriminately.

Communications Director Juliana Johnson states, Communications Director Juliana Johnson states, “We will be heard. The politicians have not been listening to us and we are fed up. If a Tea Party is what they need in order to listen to us, then a Tea Party is what they will get.”

Ammendment 2

Posted by Platte GOP in Untagged

Missouri Roundtable For Life is a citizen-formed not-for-profit organization that works to expose the truth about issues pertinent to the state’s prosperity. It was Established in 2006 to oppose Amendment 2 (the so-called “Missouri Stem Cell Research And Cures Initiative”).

The truth is this: Amendment 2 was  masked as a protector of stem cell research and cures, and as providing a ban on human cloning.  In reality, it actually protects and permits human cloning, and mandates that millions of taxpayer dollars be used to fund cloning and stem cell research, including embryonic stem cell research.

The Missouri election campaign of 2006 saw a handful of individuals spend an astonishing 30 million dollars in an effort to pass Amendment 2, the so-called “Missouri Stem Cell Research and Cures Initiative”. This was the most expensive initiative campaign in Missouri history, funded almost entirely by a few individuals tied to prominent research institutions in the state. The ‘exquisite fraud’ of Amendment 2 has worked a grave injustice on the citizens and taxpayers of Missouri.

The cloners’ scheme was so effective that hardly anyone in the state knew what was going on. At no time before or after the passage of Amendment 2 was it illegal to use any private funds to practice human cloning. But apparently the cloners wanted to use public funds instead of their own money to practice human cloning, a procedure for which the law had specifically forbidden the use of state funds. And they wanted at the same time to establish a perpetual constitutional entitlement thereto without any legislative oversight. And still more, they wanted to share in any profits produced by the investment of public funds.

They accomplished all these things with the passage of Amendment 2. The only way to correct this injustice is to COMPLETELY REPEAL AMENDMENT 2. Then, invite the cloners to come back with language transparent to any voter that clearly reveals the effects of their amendment.
