Voter fraud in St Louis; Carnahan continues whitewashPosted by Platte GOP in Untagged |
May 20, 2009
Today’s announcement by the St. Louis City Board of Elections makes it clear that voter fraud continues to thrive in Missouri, despite Robin Carnahan’s attempts to cover up the problem. Earlier this year, she issued an incomplete and less-than-professional report claiming that the state’s elections are ‘free of fraud.’ We now know that this is simply not true. Carnahan, the chief elections officer in the State of Missouri, has diminished the impact of voters who abide by the law, instead, attempting to whitewash her record of overlooking the existence of voter fraud in Missouri.

Chairman Frank Succeeds in Funding ACORNPosted by Platte GOP in Untagged |
Washington, D.C., May 8 - U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06) issued the following statement as the House of Representatives approved House Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank’s amendment which would allow organizations indicted for voter fraud or related crimes, or employ individuals who have been indicted for voter fraud or related crimes, to receive taxpayer dollars for housing counseling grants and foreclosure legal assistance grants authorized under the Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act.

MS: Well, Canadian health care is basically, that’s one of the few countries in the world where private health care is actually illegal. There is a private health care system in Canada. It’s called America.
MS: If you get sick and you want urgent treatment, head south. If you head south from Montreal on what turns into I-87, just south of the border they’ve got a big, new hospital on the New York side pointing north toward Montreal, with a sign on it saying Canadian checks accepted. That’s for patients who can’t get treated under their own health system. For the amount of money they pay in taxes, you should be entitled to three or four terminal illnesses a year. But in fact, when you actually do have a serious illness, you wait and you wait and you wait and you wait, and eventually, the province of Quebec ships you down to Fletcher Allen in Vermont, or Dartmouth Hitchcock in New Hampshire to be treated in a foreign hospital. I think that is, that’s the old joke about the Barack Obama reforms. Where are Canadians going to have to drive to once America gets government health care?

JUDGE RUSHES TO RUBBERSTAMP CARNAHAN’S ABUSE OF POWER BUT CONFUSES THE LAW
MRFL HAMSTRUNG BY COURT’S REFUSAL TO MAKE CASE AND CALLS FOR CHANGES TO LAW TO PROTECT CITIZEN GROUPS
St. Louis – April 22, 2009 – This morning, Missouri Roundtable For Life received the Order and Judgment from Cole County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Joyce in Missouri Roundtable For Life v. Carnahan, case no. 09AC-CC00063, which is the case MRFL filed in response to Secretary Robin Carnahan’s abuse of power in re-writing and politicizing MRFL’s “Taxpayer Protection Amendment.” Unlike her decision in Cures Without Cloning v. Pund in 2008, Judge Joyce sided with Secretary Carnahan in ruling that Carnahan has absolute power without restrictions to write the ballot summary statement for initiative petitions.
