Platte County Federated Republican Women – Organization Meeting 18 Feb 2021 at 6:30pm
Thursday, February 18, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Dear Friends,
Please accept this invitation to an organizational meeting for the (new) Platte County Federated Republican Women’s Club.
Please share this information with anyone whom you think would have an interest in supporting our Republican candidates and elected
officials.
An Organization meeting will be held Thursday, February 18th at 6:30 pm at the Platte County Resource Center, 11724 N.W. Plaza Circle, Kansas City MO 64153.
More information will be available on social distancing procedures as the meeting date approaches. There will be a short program followed by election of officers and adoption of club bylaws so that the new club can be registered with the Missouri Federated Republican Women.
If you have an old roster with bylaws from the previous PCFRW club please feel free to email a copy to us so they can be incorporated.
Be sure to bring scrapbooks or pictures or PCFRW publications from the past to share with new members. The Platte County Federated Republican Women’s Club was first formed in 1960 and ran continuously for over 50 years until it disbanded in 2012. In the past, the PCFRW held annual summer picnics to showcase our county candidates; we held ABC (All about Campaigning) schools to help candidates with their campaigns, and during election years we staffed the Platte County Republican Election Headquarters.
A sign up sheet for hostesses for each meeting will be available. The plan is to hold the club meetings on the third Thursday of each
month at 6:30 pm unless another date is preferable. The location of the meetings is yet to be determined. Please RSVP if you can help support our Republican candidates and elected officials.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
